Jules DeBarros published Coins of Ishtar in his 1971 book of the same name. In the mid-1990s, Allan developed a distinct handling of the routine, which first appeared in Magic Magazine under the title “Return to Ishtar.” His version introduces a significant improvement to the coins, enabling a visually stunning turnover that defies detection. Master artisan Roy Kueppers handcrafts the coins and includes Allan’s most recent approach to the routine. The coin set consists of two double-sided coins, three half dollars, and three British pennies.
